This used to be my go to when I still worked down the street from them! The owner's son's gf would come by to print their business cards and other flyers with us and we're super sweet!! I'm not sure if they still have it or if it was just for their Halloween special but I would always get their ice blended matcha KitKat with extra boba. Absolute fave and it was so delicious! You could taste both even though they were mixed together. They also have delicious avocado toast with garlic aioli with a fried egg on top! It was the perfect pick-me-up for my short lunch breaks. Granada Hills lacks small coffee shops. I hate Starbucks and was craving a cafe latte so bad this past weekend. I stopped by R Coffee house and was not disappointed. Cafe Latte with a pump of vanilla- steaming hot, lots of foam, not too sweet Bfast tacos with soyrizo- amazing! Bfast burrito- eggs , potatoes, bacon and pico- Great food, coffee, customer service and food.
I usually order the brioche sandwich w/a fried egg and avocado toast w/a fried egg. I wasn't really a big fan of the coffee as the brew tasted a bit bland. The place is right across Joe's Cafe (which is usually extremely busy). I've also tried their Northridge location. The staff is friendly and tries to be accommodating.
R Coffee House is a solid option for drinks and food if you're in the area. I was grabbing flowers nearby and stopped in to some amazing aromas from their kitchen. I grabbed a chai latte with oat milk, a chocolate croissant and a pistachio croissant. The pastries were absolutely amazing and I will come back for those alone. My chai had strong notes of honey and left a little to be desired. Service was awesome and the place has a real cozy vibe. I will come back to try some more breakfast items and their matcha latte!
Visited this spot when Joe's (across the street) was waaaay too busy. The breakfast wafflewich, and Nutella banana crepe hit the spot. The coffee was great also, and came with foam art (not pictured). The staff were friendly and the price point for it all was decent as well. I docked a star because when I tried to stop in for lunch one day with my dad, I was informed they were closing early that day. As a customer I'd appreciate a note regarding contacting the store for business hours as they may vary. However this one-off experience won't keep me from returning.
